Ever wonder what editors do? Or why hiring one might be a good idea?
In the first of three planned online Zoom workshops on editing, Lenore Hietkamp will help us understand what and why in this session on What Editors Do. Lenore has been editing for 18 years. She works for authors and publishers, in many subjects, and was the editorial coordinator for Heritage House Publishing for several years. She was shortlisted for the editorial award from Editors Canada for the editing and production of The Embodied Violinist, written and sell-published by Gwen Thompson-Robinow. She has profiles with Editors Canada, and PEAVI - Professional Editors Association of Vancouver Island.
This free session from the Federation of British Columbia Writers is open to all. Register at bcwriters.ca/events-for-writers. You will receive an email with a link to click on when it's time for the session. Questions? Email fbcw.islands@gmail.com
