In this interdisciplinary, online arts program, Pianist Andrew Sims creates a space for us all to be inspired. He accompanies us while we engage in our craft. This (nearly) monthly event has a simple, but creative premise: Andrew plays while we write.
Each session will start with a brief introduction to the music being played. From there, artists can chart their own course and work on any project they wish. Our hope is that artists in any genre or medium can join us for this ongoing program and share the joy of working in unison.
Andrew Sims completed his Bachelor of Music degree in piano from Baylor University and his Master of Music degree in piano from the University of Alberta. He maintains a busy teaching studio of students from 5-99 years old. Andrew is an examiner for the Canadian National Conservatory of Music and has embraced online instruction; he specializes in creative, wholistic, and positive teaching. andrewsimspiano.com
