Workshop/Event Description

Jumpstart your writing for the new year with the Federation of BC Writers! 

In this 1.5 hour hands-on workshop, the FBCW’s own Tara Avery, Rachel Dunstan Muller, Alex Masse, Alli Boyd, and Kim Harbridge will guide participants through a series of reflection-based writing exercises and discussion prompts. Together, we’ll put 2025 into perspective and turn our focus to our 2026 writing goals with clear eyes and renewed enthusiasm. 

Participants will leave this session with tools to pursue their writing goals in 2026, strategies for facing the inevitable obstacles with confidence, and a plan for taking their first steps into a successful year of writing.
