NaNoWriMo Connect & Write (Ongoing Check-ins and Writing Sprints)

Join us for a NaNoWriMo Connect & Write, Starting Nov 6 and Ending Dec 4th.

NaNoWriMo is coming! Join the Federation of BC Writers this National Novel Writing Month for weekly check-in’s, support, and writing sprints all November long. On October 29, we’re kicking things off with a special NaNoWriMo Sunday Webinar: Strategies for Completing a First Draft with FBCW Ambassador, Christina Myers.

Key Details:

• A Zoom link will be sent with your registration confirmation and in reminders.
• The Zoom link will be usable for all of the events connected to this project (except the Christina Myers Webinar)
• Each session will feature a check-in and a writing sprint.
• You do not have to come to all sessions, just the ones you can attend.
• Digital Doors Open 5 minutes before each session.

From there, attend our weekly check-in and writing sprint sessions to discuss, troubleshoot, and work on your project. Because we know everyone has a different schedule, we have opened up morning and evening time slots: 11:00 am and 7:00 pm PT.

To wrap up, we’re hosting a NaNoWriMo debrief and open mic, where you’ll have an opportunity to share your learnings and challenges, next steps, as well as a short excerpt of your work with other writers.
