Workshop/event description:
Writing a synopsis of your novel is something that can help at any time during the drafting, revising, querying, and pitching stages. Most commonly a synopsis is written for agents and editors, or to submit along with the opening of your story to contests.
There are many techniques to either cut or build the synopsis to fit 500 words. In this workshop, you’ll identify your theme and some key story points that will keep you focused on the essence of the story without getting lost in the forest.
Intended audience:
Writers of any skill level
