Workshop/event description:

Come prepared to analyze your story idea or current work in progress. Participants will learn about character agency and types of conflicts that propel the plot forward. Part presentation, part guided exercise on strengthening character development and plot, students will have plenty of opportunities to interact, reflect, and sharpen their writing skills.

Renée Gendron is a multi-genre romance author. She writes romcoms, Canadian western historicals, and romantasies. She's the former president of the Ottawa Romance Writers and founder of the Canadian Romance Writers ~ Écrivains et écrivaines de livres romantiques du Canada. When she's not writing, she's exploring historical sites.
