Lois Peterson


Lois Peterson published short stories, essays and articles internationally for more than 20 years before starting to write for children in 2007.

Since then she has had seven children’s novels published, one picture book under contract for 2016, and several other books in the works.

She is also a popular creative writing instructor, storyteller and writing mentor.

At one time Lois was a regular columnist for Wordworks and a Regional Rep. She currently hosts Ask Lois, a new Federation of BC Writers’ service in which writers get prompt answers to their questions about writing craft, marketing and research. Blog
