Madeleine Nattrass lives and writes on Vancouver Island, although lives to write might be a better description. She writes poetry and creative non-fiction and has done some translation, Fr/Eng. Since retiring from teaching French Immersion, she has benefited from many workshops including the Wired Writing Studio in Banff. Her work has been published in Quills, Tower Poetry, Other Voices, filling station, Freefall Magazine, Women and Environments Magazine, the new quarterly, CV2 (translation), online in Branch Magazine and Leaf Press and in several anthologies including Walk Myself Home: an anthology to end violence against women and The Poet’s Quest for God. It is forthcoming in The New Quarterly. She has also self-published.
