After three decades in Barbados as educator and museum curator, Wendy Donawa has settled in Victoria.
Her poems have appeared in Prairie Fire, Room, Island Writer, and Arc, in chapbooks edited by Patrick Lane, in online journals, in five anthologies, and in her two solo chapbooks: Sliding Towards Equinox (Rubicon Press 2009) and Those Astonishments of Sorrow, of Joy (Leaf Press, 2011). Reading Canada (Oxford University Press, 2013), co-authored with Leah Fowler, surveys CanLit for young adults.
Wendy is at present editing her first full-length poetry collection.
