Vi Brown has had several interesting careers; marketing manager in the corporate environment, owner/operator of fishing and hunting resort, real estate agent, both residential and commercial, as well as Managing Broker for a franchise real estate company. Throughout these careers, writing was never far away. If you incorporate her extensive travels, her love of animals and her many other interests, you might say that she is the ‘do-all-agist’ of writing topics.
Vi wrote and edited a real estate book geared to empower the consumer who is planning to enter the real estate market. It is entitled The Real Estate Process: Pros Discuss Buying & Selling Your Home. She enlisted a lawyer, home inspector and a home stager to write the chapters pertaining to their expertise.
Some years ago, Vi wrote a regular column in a community newspaper entitled ‘Food for Thought’. This enabled her to write on a variety of subjects.
Vi has been involved in business projects (writing & editing) such as proposals, reference manuals, reports and the like.
Current events including politics and religion always attract Vi’s attention and often result in an article or two.
She has also ventured into fiction. She enjoys writing flash fiction and is working on some projects; a children’s story (8-12), and a book with a working title of ‘What If — this is not all there is!’
More recently, she has taken up photography and hopes to use this to illustrate some of her writings.
Vi lives on the west coast, British Columbia, Canada where she pursues her many interests.
